Success Thought of the Day – 2/14/22

Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it. – James Baldwin

James Baldwin was an essayist, playwright, novelist, and activist who broke new literary ground by exploring racial and social issues in his many works. He was primarily known for his essays on the Black experience in America.

His most notable works include Notes of a Native Son, The Fire Next Time, and Go Tell It on the Mountain. Further, his unfinished manuscript, Remember This House, was expanded and adapted for cinema as the documentary film I Am Not Your Negro (2016), which was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 89th Academy Awards.

Simply stated, Baldwin’s breakthrough literary works opened doors for many.
