At the top of the clean sheet of paper, simply mark “12/31/20” and start writing. Think of the things you will have seen and heard; the trials and challenges that will have tested you; the barriers you will have overcome; the relationships you will have created, mended and/or deepened; the fears you will have broached; the investments you will have made in yourself and your personal growth.

Let the writing flow with abandon. This is not meant to be perfect; it is meant to be a starting point for action.
