When leading others, expect to actively play these roles regularly in service of those you lead.

The coach helps set goals, co-create development plans, and actively monitors progress, course correcting to drive optimal personal growth.

The counselor and confidant regularly “hold space.”  The counselor unpacks workplace issues and, through probing, helps drive root cause analysis and collaboratively problem solves.  The confidant holistically and effectively listens when the person needs an ear.

The cheerleader loudly and proudly recognizes them.
