Success Thought of the Day – 2/9/21

I have this ability to find this hidden talent in people that sometimes even they didn’t know they had. – Berry Gordy

Berry Gordy and others, such as Quincy Jones, were influential to me.  Earlier in my music life, I aspired to be “lead,” but I found more joy and natural ability as I helped others find their “voice.” It contributed to a powerful shift as I grew in leadership, increasingly learning how to be in service of others to make an impact.

The Miracles, the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, the Four Tops, Gladys Knight & the Pips, and Stevie Wonder may have never been known without Berry Gordy playing his role.

Consider who this world might miss if you don’t play your role.

Worse, doing the same thing day after day with the same emails? What once perhaps served a purpose no longer does.
