Self-promotion is an uncomfortable concept for many. I have personally seen some of the best salespeople and marketers seemingly lose those skills when it comes to promoting their own products because “it feels different.”
Whether it is the completed project, career accomplishments or a new business, promotion needs to happen in order for others to know the value you can provide. Consider reframing it as “sharing a solution to help others.”
