Many might equate a conversation that matters with a courageous conversation.

In courageous conversations, whether in the context of performance appraisal, mentoring, or coaching, individuals are encouraged to express their views openly and truthfully, rather than defensively or with the purpose of laying blame.

In those conversations, it is about the emergence of new and shared understanding.

Give some thought to the people you care about and the relationships you wish had more depth to them and consider the topics that linger and create barriers.
