Absent energy, there is no movement.  I fully believe that the pursuit of your passion provides endless energy.  When I teach classes around Success on Your Own Terms, one of the components I discuss is the Passion Point Incubator.  It always draws a few chuckles … I get it, it sounds funny.  However, an incubator’s job is to protect something that is early in its life and vulnerable until it has grown to a certain state (think eggs on a farm until the chicks hatch).

The incubator I discuss for your passion serves in the same manner, protect your passion (and energy) until you are operating within it.  One of the ways you create that incubator is by only sharing your passion selectively with a trusted few.  These should be people that are undoubtedly in service to you as a resource.  They will help you refine your ideas, turn those ideas into visual pictures, challenge you to articulate goals, provide critical feedback and ultimately walk with you along the journey.

Your passion is your greatest source of energy.  You can’t afford to squander it, nor let it be taken away from you by naysayers, whether they intentionally mean to do so or not.
