Success Thought of the Day – 6/18/18: The Power of Goals

The Power of Goals is simply amazing.  This past Sunday, a group in Mexico City that monitors for trouble, observed a small earthquake but noted it had “artificial” origins.   As the day progressed news reports came in clarifying that the tremor was likely caused by the “mass jumping during Mexico’s win in the World Cup.”

Mexico was playing Germany, the defending World Cup champions and even during the first half of the game when Mexico achieved their first score, two sensors in the capital detected the quake around 11:32 am.  Mexico won the game to advance to the next round!  But let’s just think about this – – – how excited we can get about sports.  The team has not even won the World Cup yet, but there is enough excitement to set off earthquake sensors.

Take-Away

Ask yourself, “What goals am I focused on in my life, that just by me seeing a sign of progress towards them, will ignite a celebration within me that sets off earthquake sensors?”

And if you’re up to it, share it in the comments section below.
