Learning and Growing: Success Thought of the Day – 11/8/18

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. - Marcel Proust

Gaining “new eyes” comes with openness and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

How do you continue to sharpen your saw, learn new things and gain more perspective?

Three things to consider:

  • What: Create a list of things you would like to learn, aligned with your passion/purpose.
  • When: Consider when you have time to do so (e.g. different usage of TV time, downtime, during your commute, etc.) and consciously allocate time.
  • How: We all learn differently. You can of course purchase books or get them from the library (believe it or not), physically or digitally.  You can listen to podcasts (available for any mobile device).  You can watch videos on YouTube.

Take a few minutes today, create your plan and then get after it!

Have a great day!
