Simply stated, “consistency beats commitment.”

There have been various forms of research done on this, but on average, a new behavior becomes automatic after 2 months.  That said, it is less about the volume of things you do to achieve your goals and more about choosing a few right things and doing them consistently.  Consider one or two things that matter most to achieving your goals.  One or two things that you will do consistently until it becomes automatic.

We often start with our passion, purpose and dreams. Then we translate that into a clear vision. However, from there, things can begin to get a bit tricky as there is a tendency to rationalize “what is possible?”

Diversify your opportunities.  This is not to be confused with a lack of focus and random acts.  Acquiring skills that allow you to perform and succeed in multiple areas is of value.  It adds paint to your “career collage,” (a concept I discuss in-depth in promise #4, https://thecorelinksolution.com/igniteyourcareer/).
