Beginning new things is fun and exciting. Ending things, not so much. Reframe it as a transition to another “new.”

participated in an outreach event in Wilmington, DE, this past Saturday. As I spoke to several individuals who came by my table, a woman asked me for a copy of my book as she shared that she would be graduating with her Bachelor’s degree soon but was not quite sure what she would do yet. Preparation matters. Skills are important, but mental preparation is even more so. In many cases, the thing we want requires some form of transformation when the moment of opportunity strikes. Be ready to coach yourself through the discomfort.

Schools can teach you academically, but like many things, practice makes it permanent.
