Like many teams that venture out onto the football field, acknowledging 100 yards to goal, they recognize that not all plays work for every team.  They often adjust the play calls based on the players that they have on the field.

So it is with your success.   Best practices and models that work well for someone else are great places to start; acquire that wisdom!  However, be mindful to ensure the right application to who you are and what you are designed to do.

Consistency!  How else can you have a career that spans five decades, produces twenty albums, and sell more than 135 million records? ⠀ ⠀ You don’t have to be the “boss,” famous, nor do world tours.  You simply need to lock into your purpose and live into it consistently. ⠀

If you are a praying person, do your knee-drills. If you meditate, then perhaps use that space. Whatever your method, make it a practice to look out towards your vision and the underlying principles you live by to guide you.

Seasons, scenes, screens, methods, people, structures, and many other things may change often and rapidly, but principles do not. Principles stand the test of time.

Grand visions, strategies, and plans fail without excellent execution. Execution is stronger when engagement is stronger. Engagement is stronger when inclusion is stronger.

Share the vision, strategy, and plan with your teams, offering opportunities to contribute, and then seek to execute. In the absence of that, often static execution orders and tasks are distributed, denying people the chance to own the vision with you and contribute at the highest level.
