From time to time, enumerate your “platform,” which I consider to be your experiences, reputation, and network. As you note your experiences, you’ll find that it is less about the answers and accomplishments and more about what you learned during the journey that adds enduring and transferable value, that you parlay future-forward.
As a natural introvert, I am never totally comfortable with public speaking, but I have learned to press through it and a number of others throughout my journey. However, there is one thing that I have wanted to do, for quite some time, but have not taken the leap. I wouldn’t say I’m “terrified,” but I let concerns hold me back. I have decided that I am going to do it, by January 1st if possible and I’ll share it with you when I do!

I enjoy watching children, who are unaware of limitations and boundaries, play and act out what they believe they want to be when they grow up. They do so with reckless abandon, having no reason to believe their dreams will not come true.
