Where we start and where we are now is almost irrelevant. It is most often a “temporary assignment.” Plan, be prepared for and visualize where you want to go. Create your dream board holistically and get after it.

For many, this is the end of week three for a new set of inspired goals! Sometimes, it is around this point, that the excitement begins to wear off a bit. It’s similar to having purchased that new car and then paying the first note. New undertakings such as walking into the gym at 5 AM don’t feel quite as inspired as they did during the first week.
Step-by-step we move forward towards better fitness, meal-by-meal towards better health and task-by-task an initiative is completed. Count each step, meal and task completed as an accomplishment on the way towards your goal.
Passion/Purpose > SMART Goals > Prioritized and Calendarized work = Success.
Simply stated, “consistency beats commitment.”
There have been various forms of research done on this, but on average, a new behavior becomes automatic after 2 months. That said, it is less about the volume of things you do to achieve your goals and more about choosing a few right things and doing them consistently. Consider one or two things that matter most to achieving your goals. One or two things that you will do consistently until it becomes automatic.
